Personal Care - Support Services - Health Services
At Edelweiss Village, our mission is to offer services in a respectful,
dignified, safe and stimulating environment. These services range from
personal care to social support. Staff and management are committed
to meeting the individualized needs of our residents, always fostering
independence and individual dignity.
Personal Care
Residents of Edelweiss Village are able to access personal care assistance
for routine activities of daily living. Whether grooming, dressing or
a bit of help getting out of bed in the morning, the Edelweiss Village
staff is available and trained to assist residents safely and sensitively.
Each resident receives up to one hour of assistance per day and additional
assistance is available as needed.
Support Services
At Edelweiss Village, the needs of our residents are as varied as our
residents themselves. Individuals may need services that require creativity,
energy and experience of our well-trained staff. If a resident requires
help with transportation to a medical appointment, Edelweiss Village can
help make that possible. At Edelweiss Village, our staff identifies and
satisfies the needs of those who have chosen to make their homes here.
Health Services
With the unparalleled resources of the Boston medical community at their
doorstep, Edelweiss Village residents have virtually unlimited access
to the best health services available. Furthermore, on the campus of
Edelweiss Village is one of Boston's oldest and most highly respected
not-for-profit rehabilitation centers - the German Centre for Extended
Care. With its renowned staff of nurses, therapists, doctors and other
clinicians, the residents of Edelweiss Village have a world of health
care expertise at their fingertips.
